More About Covenant Place

In the spring of 1994, Covenant Place opened its doors as the only continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in the area.  Covenant Place is a result of the vision of local community leaders making a commitment to the people of Sumter and surrounding areas - A commitment to provide a lifestyle to seniors that wanted to forego the burdens of maintaining a house and live among others who share their zest for life.

Representatives from the local area congregations remain members of the Board of Trustees at Covenant Place.   These dedicated members of the Sumter community recognize that aging is a normal process in which people experience in different ways.  They ensure all of our programs, services, and amenities are designed with the needs of mature adults and their loves ones in mind. 

The Covenant Place Leadership Team is composed of well-trained and experienced professionals in long term care.  They are dedicated to continuing the vision of our founders by providing the highest quality of care and fostering a vibrant retirement community at Covenant Place.
